Instruction is offered 1:1 or in classes of 4-12 people. The course is 4 hours – generally 1xweek for 4 weeks but fast track may be available for those with a suitable level of fitness
Lessons are by a NWUK certified instructor and lead to a certificate enabling the holder to walk with any NWUK walk leader in the UK without further instruction
All equipment is provided for the course
Nordic walking is suitable for people with differing fitness levels and can help with some mobility problems
The course is technique based so does not insist on participants being able to walk longer distances
After the second lesson (1st lesson fast track) participants may join A Foot in the Chilterns regular walks for practice included in the cost of the course
Next tasters are Saturday Feb 9th at Greys court 10-10.30am and Tuesday Feb 11th at River and Rowing Museum 1.30-2pm. Poles provided for the sessions. Booking essential.
